It's likely no other organization can claim a longer history of service to the greater Detroit community than Mt. Elliott Cemetery Association. In fact, since 1841, Mt. Elliott has held a unique position in southeast Michigan -- we have been entrusted to help memorialize and celebrate the lives of thousands of our fellow Christians in  place of tranquil beauty.

For more than 20 years, Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester has continued this tradition as a part of the Mt. Elliott Cemetery Association. Beautiful landscaping and a dignified entryway welcome visitors to Guardian Angel's park-like setting. Just beyond the entry is a monumental bronze sculpture of the namesake guardian angel. It’s interesting to note that the artist’s model for this imposing sculpture was blessed by Pope John Paul II in 2004. Guardian Angel’s expansive grounds are enhanced with flowers and trees throughout, and the Angel of Peace Mausoleum offers a climate-controlled, majestic space for crypts and cremation niches, including glass front niches. Its meditative cremation garden is a contemplative space for families of loved ones resting eternally there.
